Claire never stopped praying. She was raised to, before bedtime, kneel alongside her bed, clasp her hands together, and thank the Lord for all he’s done. Then, for the year her father left, she supplicated for his safety, for his well-being, for his return.
And then he came back, only for Claire to discover that the angels she spoke to every night were real, but they weren’t what she learned of. They were very different, but still very real. Heaven, Hell, demons, angels…all so real. The presence of Castiel—as short-lived as it was—within her skin was enough to expunge any doubt of their existence.
Sometimes, despite the years gap between now and then, she recalls when Castiel came to her, when her father, her mother, and the two Winchester men were in such peril. She heard his words clearly, just as her father did, heard him asking if he could enter her body and save her family. He promised their safety—and in turn the world’s—but she had to reply quickly. She remembers how frantic he sounded, how stressed and pressed, like he harboured other desires far closer to home than just her family and his vessel.
It had something to do with the boys, she knew, and after looking up into the golden light, the celestial warmth filling her body, she knew it as a fact. Because, although Castiel’s time beneath her flesh was brief, and although she knew little of what was going on, she knew enough to gather that the angel had a certain bond with those boys, one stronger than anything fathomable, one fiercer than any archangel, one unbreakable and true.
She remembers those boys, even now as she abandons adolescence as she marches onward into her teenage years. And sometimes they sneak into her thoughts as she bows her head at night, the names ‘Sam’ and ‘Dean’ slipping into her prayers. It’s silly that two men she met years ago still matter at all, but they meant something to Castiel, so she has faith in them too.
“Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name,” She whispers, forehead against her folded hands, “I thank you for the life you gave me, and that my mother is okay. And I also pray that my father is well, along with Your Child who lives inside. And I hope Castiel and his boys Sam and Dean are alright, too, Father. I don’t know where they are, but I do hope they’re happy. I hope they’re very happy thanks to You.”
Claire lets out a sigh, a stream rolling down her cheek. She doesn’t know quite why she’s crying, but she doesn’t really care. She just hopes that God answers her prayers just this once.
The Claire Novak fic I told ya’ll about.
Nods to The Braedens, the Milligans, and the, of course, the Winchesters.
Summary: A teenage Claire Novak finds herself sharing with a stranger in a sleazy club the tale of why she’s so desperate to find two tall guys in an Impala.
75: “Ben got his memory back and ran away from home. He then started hunting and looking for Dean.”

TFW2.0 finished designs!
As you can tell I got a tiny bit lazy (I mean just look at those sexy faces). But I mostly just wanted to get designs down, then splash some color on and that’s just what I did. =3=
The characters, as well as the entire concept of TFW2.0 obviously are not mine, but theseeee designs however are, and while you fellow fans are more than welcome to use them, it’d be super cool if you gave me proper credit and didn’t steal them and all that jazz.~
OKAY HI THESE ARE MY TFW2.0 DESIGNS. Or y’know what I have so far. It’s still a WIP, and they obviously don’t have things like y’know faces and shit, but I just wanted to get some designs for hair and clothes and shit like that done. ANYWAYS let me tell you a little about what we have here:
We start out with Claire Novak. She’s about 20, and is about a couple centimeters short of being 5’3”. She has a rosary that she carries around with her. [More headcanon about the rosary can be found here.]
Then we have Krissy Chambers. She’s about 23 (at least I think she would be, it seems to me that she’s at least a year or two older than Ben? I mean she looks older, so I just went with that and made her older) She stands at 5’9”, and had a tomboyish vibe about her.
Then there’s Jesse Turner. He’s the youngest of the group, being only 19. (Because i’m pretty sure Jesse is at least a couple years younger? Idk the kid looked pretty young so i’m going by that). Now I’ve seen a couple of designs where he’s like, a giant, and has long hair and is pretty much Sammy’s doppelganger, but my Jesse is a little different. He’s only 5’11, and he keeps his hair at an average length.
And lastly we have Ben Braeden. He’s about 21, and stands the tallest out of anyone in the group, at 6ft (for the longest time he used to be shorter than Krissy, but then he hit puberty and had a bit of a growth spurt, more headcanon about this can be found here). He keeps his whole…uncannily similar to Dean thing in most aspects, even donning an amulet—although not the exact same one Dean used to wear. He wears a varsity jacket because he played college football.
Okay so I like this TFW 2.0 thing right? So I thought i’d come up with some head-canons.
And like. I have this one, that for the longest time, Ben was shorter than Krissy, and she used to like to goad him about it (because I see them as having a sibling-y kind of relationship, and that is what siblings do) then he finally like, hit puberty and grew, and now he stands a whooping three inches taller than her.
It’s not much—and Krissy will often point that out to him, but it’s still something so her goading doesn’t get to him as much anymore.
You know what I would like to happen?
I think that Lee, and Lisa should meet up, and then Krissy and Ben could become like, BFF’s, or even siblings or something.
Don’t judge me. I familyship this. Familyship is now a thing.
Because I say so.
BUT NO REALLY THINK ABOUT IT OKAY? JUST. THINK ABOUT IT. IT COULD TOTALLY WORK.
Ben and Lisa are a normal family with no Dad.
and then there’s Krissy and Lee who are hunters with no mom, right?
but then Dean told Lee to leave the hunter-life remember?
So what if, just what if Lee actually like took his advice and gets out, and upon trying to have a normal life they maybe like, meet Lisa and Ben in a supermarket or something normal like that right?, and just, they start talking and they really hit it off, and then after a while they all move in together and become one big happy family filling both families missing gaps, and it works in my head okay? Okay.
